What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. We also use browser local storage and session storage, which work the same way for privacy purposes. Some are strictly necessary to run the site (for example, staying signed in). Others support preferences, measurement, or advertising and are only used where permitted by your consent choices and applicable law.

Advertising cookies are only set once advertising is live on the site. Google may update its own cookie list; the current inventory is published in Google's advertising cookie disclosure.
Your privacy choices
- Personalized vs. non-personalized ads. Personalized ads use cookies and identifiers tied to your browsing to select ads that may match your interests. Non-personalized ads are selected from contextual signals only — the page content and coarse location — and still use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregate measurement. You can choose non-personalized ads at any time in Google Ads Settings.
- Withdrawing or changing consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). Advertising consent on this site is collected through Google's certified consent management platform. Reopen the consent message at any time using the Privacy Choices link in the site footer, or clear this site's cookies in your browser to be asked again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent stops further use of advertising cookies; it does not delete data already processed.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). Some browsers and extensions transmit a GPC signal. Where the law treats that signal as a valid opt-out request — including California — we and our advertising partners honor it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to take any other action for a GPC signal to apply.
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell personal information for money. When advertising is enabled, our use of advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California and similar US state laws. To opt out, enable GPC in your browser, choose non-personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or email privacy@mydvcplanner.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
- Browser controls. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent saved searches and alerts from working.
- Email. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn off all email in your profile settings.
