Disney Vacation Club divides the year into multiple point-cost seasons. The same room can cost dramatically different points depending on which season you book.
The cheapest weeks of the year. Generally late August through late September, plus most of January and early February. Lowest point costs and lower crowds.
Mid-tier pricing. Includes parts of May and most of November (excluding Thanksgiving week).
Mid-to-high pricing. Most of March, parts of June, and other shoulder periods.
High pricing. Spring break (most of April), summer (June through mid-August), and other premium weeks.
The highest point costs. Christmas/New Year's week, Easter, Thanksgiving week, and select major holidays. Often double the point cost of Adventure Season.
If your travel dates are flexible, shifting a 5-night stay from Magic Season to Adventure Season can save 30–50% of the total points. Use MyDVCPlanner's Date Finder to instantly see how point cost changes across the entire year for the same resort and room type.
