Aulani is a destination resort — there are no Disney parks nearby. Most guests rent a car or use Lyft/Uber. Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, the North Shore, and the iconic windward beaches of Lanikai and Kailua are all within 30–90 minutes by car. The resort has a private shuttle to nearby Ko Olina shopping centers and golf courses.
Anyone wanting a real Hawaiian vacation with Disney touches — multi-generational families, honeymooners, and DVC owners willing to spend 70–100 points per night for a 5–7 night Pacific getaway. Not a substitute for Walt Disney World — Aulani is a beach resort first.
