The resort itself is on the inland marsh side of Hilton Head, but Disney operates a complimentary shuttle to a private beach house on the Atlantic Ocean a few miles away. The beach house has its own pool, lockers, snack bar, and beach equipment rentals, which makes it functionally a full beach club. Most guests split their time between the marsh-side resort (kayaking, fishing, biking, marsh walks, family campfires) and the ocean-side beach house.
