Food & Wine: early September weekdays (Adventure Season, before crowds ramp for Halloween). Holidays: early December weekdays (before Dec 20 Premier Season spike). Weekends across all four festivals cost 30–50% more in points and draw dramatically higher crowds.

The EPCOT Resort Bubble

Boardwalk Villas, Beach Club Villas, and Riviera Resort all sit within a 10-minute walk (or short Skyliner ride for Riviera) of EPCOT's International Gateway. These are the "walking-to-EPCOT" DVC resorts. During festival weeks, home-resort 11-month priority at these three properties is where most experienced festival-goers focus their point charts.

The Skyliner Advantage

Riviera and Caribbean Beach (non-DVC) connect to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios via Skyliner gondolas. Skyliner riders skip the boat wait entirely, and the ride to EPCOT is a 3-minute glide. For festival-focused trips where you're going back to EPCOT twice a day, Skyliner reliability can outweigh Beach Club walk-back convenience.

Beyond-the-Bubble Options

Bay Lake Tower and Grand Floridian are on the monorail loop that reaches EPCOT via the Transportation & Ticket Center transfer — a real journey (30–40 minutes end-to-end). For festival-focused trips these are second-tier choices unless Magic Kingdom is co-priority. Contemporary/BLT is walking distance to Magic Kingdom, not EPCOT.

Dining Reservations Strategy

Signature dining at Monsieur Paul, Le Cellier, Space 220, and Takumi-Tei fills 60 days in advance during festival weeks. Set a calendar reminder for exactly 60 days pre-trip at 5:45 AM Eastern (Disney reservation drops at 6:00 AM).
