Disney's Beach Club Villas opened in 2002 as part of the Beach Club Resort, a Yacht-and-Beach-Club complex inspired by 1870s New England seaside cottages. The villas occupy a five-story building adjacent to the main Beach Club lobby, with shared access to all the resort's amenities — most notably Stormalong Bay, a three-acre sand-bottomed pool complex with a lazy river, multiple slides (including a slide built into a recreated shipwreck), a sand-bottom snorkeling area, and tiered lounge decks.
Location is what makes the Beach Club exceptional. The villas are roughly a 5-minute walk from EPCOT's International Gateway entrance, which puts you straight into the World Showcase between France and the United Kingdom — meaning you can stroll to dinner at Monsieur Paul or Le Cellier without dealing with the main park entrance. The boat to Hollywood Studios takes about 15 minutes, or you can walk it in about 25 minutes through the BoardWalk area.
The villas themselves feature New England nautical theming: light-blue and sand-colored interiors, beadboard ceilings, vintage beach photography, and white-painted furniture. Studio inventory here is limited and books up early because of the resort's combination of pool quality and EPCOT walkability.
Walking distance to EPCOT International Gateway (~5 minutes). Boat or walking path to Hollywood Studios (15–25 minutes). Bus service to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and water parks. The Disney Skyliner is not directly accessible from Beach Club — guests typically board at the EPCOT International Gateway station.
